Slipstream - File Description  


Description:
Well, here we have an elegant little saber. It's rather small and aesthetically pleasing, design-wise, and the shaders on it are good.

Well first off there's the model, which is small, but it's designed that way. I like the way that it tapers down at the bottom. It makes the saber look elegant. Okay, let's not do small talk. I like the whole design. Now let's move on the the interesting part - the shader!

There's actually a rather funny (well, not really funny) story about the shaders. Inyri custom-made a chrome shader for this, and then had a really hard time getting it to work in-game. But here we have it, in it's glory.

There are two versions of this saber, a regular chrome version, and one that's trimmed with electrum. While I really wouldn't use this, it still looks really cool.

DESCRIPTION
------------
It's a saber hilt with a more sleek look to it. Smaller, it would probably look best as dual, but works fine as a single. There are two versions - one which is completely chrome, and one which is trimmed with electrum. The chrome shader used on these hilts has been tailored specifically to the hilts, because I found the default chrome shader to be inadequate.

To use Slipstrem Gold in SP, use the following command:

While this took me *forever* to make, due to modder's ADD, busy-ness with my FileFront duties, and random gaming, it was really quite fun to make and I'm happy with how it turned out. It's really a neat-looking hilt. You should sooo hear about the shader problems I had. Hoooo boy were they a pain...!

A hard time getting the shader to work in game? Yeah, I know that story all too well.... I've tried to make a custom hilt with a custom chrome shader, but never could get the shader to work.

That's a really cool saber. I like the gold trim on the 1st saber a lot.

9/10 for these sabers.

Also the saber looks like a pen backwards. stick out tongue

Very nice, reminds me of Mace Windu's saber with the gold electrum, this will be my new single saber, great work. 9/10

wow, another quality product.

the gold version somehow reminds me of a motor (or anti-grave thingy) from a Naboo starfighter.
Is that normal ?
