Pine Tree Map Object - File Description

Hey mappers, like pine trees? If so, I've got just the thing for you. If not, shut up and listen anyway. stick out tongue

It seems that Inyri Forge was going to make a tree pack for maps, but only made one out of dislike for making trees. That one tree is what you get now: A pine tree.

It looks like a pine tree, though a rather straight one. Looking out my window at the trees, I can see no tree that is quite that straight and neat as this one is, but it does get it's point across, which is all that matters. It is a fine tree model, and the one little thing I noticed about it isn't something that would bug most people, or that most people would even notice.

So, if you want a nice tree to use, give this a download, and enjoy it!

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: This model is meant only to be used for mapping; it is in PK3 format for convenience only. Putting the PK3 in your base folder will not result in anything. To use, extract the contents and place them on your hard drive with the other map objects you use during mapping. You may then import them into your map.

DESCRIPTION: I originally intended to do a tree pack, but I really dislike trees in general. I never was a big fan of botany. As a result, all that ever got finished was this pine tree. It is a single pine, which I tried to make as efficiently as possible to reduce unnecessary lag when used. It's very simple, but doesn't look too bad, all things considered.

BUGS / COMMENTS: These map objects may need to be resized. To do this, add a modelscale tag to your map object entity properties. I have included an image to show you what it looks like. The .5 means 50% so you will have to play around with that value until the object is of an appropriate size. For those curious, I may make future packs as well that aren't focused solely on instruments. If you have ideas for helpful Star Wars themed map objects you think should or need to be made, just let me know.

Please include proper credits for the models, and include this read-me, unaltered, within your archive. I would also ask that you include a link to where you found the map objects, so that other mappers can find and use them as well.
